This item requires periodic maintenance / adjustments along with technical setup and it is recommended to have basic mechanical ability or have someone with mechanical ability around through use and is recommended to be operated on hard, flat surfaces. This is a larger, faster toy that is to be operated in a safe open area away from objects and people. Parental supervision is required and we also recommend wearing safety gear at all times.
Here are some tips for helping your toy and battery last longer:
- Do not leave out in the rain or use a garden hose to wash the toy. Water can get into the dashboard and under the seat and ruin electronic components. Use a damp rag to clean the toy.
- Store the toy in a dry place.
- When the toy is not being used for an extended period of time, charge the battery to full every 1-2 months. During winter, store the battery in a warm area. Cold temperatures can reduce a battery's capacity.
- When charging the battery, charge 8-12 hours, never exceeding 24 hours on a single charge, as this can overcharge the battery and ruin it.
